Re: Sublaze
Hi Steve, this is the first time I have looked at your post and you have quite a project going there.I have a tailgate from a 72 that the outter skin is in good shape but it is rusted through on the inside where the bed was full of leaves .I will take $60 for it if it will work for your purpose.I can even cut just the outter skin off with the top lip still on it to make it lighter to ship if interested.send me a pm if interested.can't wait to see it finished now that I've seen it.I saw one in truckin mag awhile back with the gate welded up solid and the laid back winshield.Bright red with a 67 or 68 front end and was a very cool looking roadster.keep at it and post some more pics.

Re: Sublaze
hey i like the idea and styling i was thinking about cutting the back out of a truck do and welding the cab to the frame in the same way u did and ad seats in the middle with 8 grade bolts to the bottom of the seat and to the frame with a few 2 foot long 1/2 chains on a roller system the seat flies back and when i stop fast it would fly forward do u think that would be legal or would i have to get a sub or a blazer

Re: Sublaze
I think it would look better with chrome in the back. No roll pans.

Re: Sublaze
i agree, that with a little chrome in the back would look better, too much of one color looks bad. that's my (don't know how to spell it).
