You mean the brown and tan? I bought the truck like that, I think that was its third paint scheme. I'm going to do a similar scheme, but with some greens, and maybe some metal flake to really give it that 60's look!

Oh, ok. If we're thinking of the same truck, then that's a 66, and it belongs to DM310. I bought a parts truck off of him.

Re: Your 60-66 bagged projects?

Thekid54,

Thanks for the rear setup info, but now i'm thinking about staying on trailing arms? I love the way your truck is looking "old school"! I think i'm going to flat black mine with green pinstripes? Thanks again!

Dm310,

just curious how big of a tire your truck would of layed with a regular step notch, block, and the trailing arms hitting the frame? I wanna bag mine and i'm thinking of staying on trailing arms and i'm on 20's with about a 28 in. tire think it will lay? Thanks later

Ah man, I just moved from Canyon Country back to Glendale. My truck and garage stuff is still out there for the time being though. Did you change jobs, I hope you aren't making that commute down to the south bay? I'm at JPL in Pasadena now, less than a 15 min. commute on the streets!

I dig your setup, I need to re-do mine. It works, but the axle doesn't have much articulation.
