Re: 55-57 one piece windows
Is the hole on the left just because it was in the piece or needed to mount to the regulator?? Can't wait to see the video.

Re: 55-57 one piece windows
the hole you are referring to was simply in the piece i needed to lengthen the track. it is not used during installation

where is the part that we have to trim on post 61 is it just grinding down a little bit or do we have to cut it?

the peice he circled is what needs to be cut off and threw away. look @ video number 3 @ 1:58 minutes. that is the peice that attaches the glass to the track on the regulator. also, when your @ the glass shop make sure to pickup a couple feet of window tape. it is used to put the glass into the peice your reffering too.

Re: 55-57 one piece windows

Re: 55-57 one piece windows
One thing you might want to do is cover your glass with some shelf paper. It's low tack and peels off easy when your done. It will save you from any scraches.

Re: 55-57 one piece windows
Grimss is going to up load the template in a PDF file so we don't have to mail it out because we have so many people wanting it. Plus for people in the future. This could go on for a long time, and could run in to problems down the road. he said he will get it done next week. If he can't, we will go back to the old way. Brian
If you want the chrome beads on the felts like grimss has, call up Fannin Auto Glass in Springfield, Mo @ 417-869-4096 the track that holds the glass in is Y630P-96. you will need two of these, in 8 foot sticks. the felt sweepers are YM54R-96 HALF-GUIDE. these come in 8 foot sticks i think, but one isnt enough.
