Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!
I'm loving the colors and can't wait to see it with the new trim I just got from Brothers on it. I ended up going with CrossFire base coat and the Ultra line for the clear. I love PPG but so do they! 380.00 for a gallon of base...Not in the budget at this time. It's preped with all PPG primers but I just couldn't see throwing 1000 out for the base/clear. We used to get it from our friends shop but they've gone to the waterborne stuff so I can't get them to mix it like we used to. Crossfire has done very well for some of my fathers past projects and the finish is as good as any. I'm happy so far... after some trizact 3000 and the buffer it should be super slick.

Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!
Hector, thanks for the pics they are helpful getting some ideas. On the doors I had thought that the window post the entire thing should be white?? We painted the cab and the bed yesterday!! Got a couple runs thankfully only in the white. We only had 18" paper so had to cut all of it masking the white on the bed... that sucked. I had no idea how much time it would envolve doing the tape but it turned out great. Of course the cam battery died so I have to get some pics later.

Wow Chris! this is a super fast project. I have to ask, is it your full time job?....Kidding, you must have put some long hours in on your off time. I'm amazed how fast you went from rust repair to paint. I have spent a solid 2 months on my cab. Just shows how slow I am. You paint looks great, more pictures.
