Re: Trucks in the Wild
I'm loving these last few posts. This is exactly what I wanted this thread to be. Trucks just sitting in a parking lot, or moving down the road. I love that we're still using these things. Trailer queens may look good, but this is what these trucks were built for. Thanks ya'll, and keep 'em coming!

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Caught this one today leaving HF. I have seen it on and off in the neighborhood for at least ten years. Sorry about the poor focus. I guess I should wash my windows. i

Saw this truck this past saturday, turned around to snap a pic. Last tagged in 07 and is actually in pretty good shape.

Was able to catch this one trying to blend in while I picked up my Chinese dinner.

This counts right? It's Dale Jr.'s hauler for his NASCAR graveyard. I guess that makes it a hearse? Pic from NASCAR.com

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Found this one getting groceries the other day. I know I took a pic from the back, too. But, I can't find it right now. If I do, I'll post it too. Owner was real nice. (Of course, we all are, right?).
It's got a side mounted spare with a nice cover, and a chrome rear bumper I really liked.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Not sure if this is the thread to post these on, but I couldn't find a thread to post up craigslist (etc.) finds like the thread in the 69-72 Blazer/Jimmy forum. If this isn't the place for it, I can delete the posts.
Saw the stepside a few days ago in a FB group, not my truck, in Hood County, Tx. The blue C is also not mine, and I saw it this afternoon on the drive home on 26 in Colleyville, Tx., turned around to get a couple pics in case anyone was interested. edit: If you can't zoom, the sign in the blue one says it's a '71 for $21,500, 817-308-5054.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
I recently (about 3 YA) sold a '68 Buick Skylark GS that was painted approximately these colors. NICE! Before my wife agreed that the new shell could be taller and have a flip-up door for loading sheets of plywood, I considered buying a long bed stepside.

I'm perfectly fine with those pictures staying on this thread. The more cool truck pics the better. Here's a link to the thread you were looking for though.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
This reminds me of my days shooting for "Big Cat Diary" I was fortunate to catch this rare breed "Sierra Grande" trying to hide behind vegetation at the Home Depot.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Nice find. My kids have been hooked on Big Cat Diary for the past few weeks. That's pretty neat that you shot for it.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
I'm just kidding about working for "Big Cat Diary" which I like too but they haven't made any new episodes in a decade probably. I was getting into the character for trucks in the "WILD."

Scored a twofer. One outside Starbucks and one in a lot, don't know how much "Affordable Classics" wants for it. Both at the end of the Oregon Trail in Oregon City, Oregon.
