Re: Got my Leroy's! (TTII's)
Picked up a set of rallies for it this past weekend.
Ive always wanted a set, gotta clean them up an get new tires but I'll have them to swap out when i want to change up the look. Just have to figure out tire sizes... Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Got my Leroy's! (TTII's)
If they are 8's, I say 245/60 front and 255/70 rear.

Re: Got my Leroy's! (TTII's)
Since you are thinking Rallys ,and our trucks had the same basic stance, here is the same truck with 15x8's and 255/60 front and 275/60 rears. This will give you an idea of what that size will look like on your truck.

Re: Got my Leroy's! (TTII's)
My new Rallys I picked up from Jegs, fronts are 15x8, 4"BS and 245/60/15's, rears are 15x10, 5"BS and 295/50/15's.

Re: Got my Leroy's! (TTII's)
They are all 8", that's what i was told anyway. I only checked two of them since i was short on time. One is almost full of water even though the bead looks to still be set. I hope its not an issue with the rim. I was looking at 255/70 already an thinking it might be to tall for the front. Ill check out the 245 too.

Re: Got my Leroy's! (TTII's)
295/50 are definitely too wide for an 8" rim. My '74 had the 245/60 front and 255/70 rear on 15x8.5 slots, and they fit pretty well with the 6/8 drop. Seems like the wheels had 4.5" BS. You will need to trim the lips of lower control arms on the front to jive with the 15" wheels, but that's not a big issue.

Re: Got my Leroy's! (TTII's)
It is, frank sold it an the buyer wanted the rallies which is the reason i was able to get the torque thrusts if i remember right. Frank has had some killer trucks though so i could be wrong.

Loved that truck on the slots! The only thing it needed was white in the middle IMO. I'm a sucker for the two tone though...

Re: Got my Leroy's! (TTII's)
Got some tailgate trim an got the rear bumper mounted. Heading for new hardware for the license plate box and a hardware set for the plate in a few. Got insurance back on it earlier this month an paid three years worth of taxes (I won't start on that rant here) an got a tag last week. Hope to get it aligned after I get back from vacation next week an then put some miles on it for a bit hopefully trouble free!
