Re: '71 Burb Build "The Family Car"
I'm still hoping I wake up from a bad dream but reality keeps hitting me. I really don't want the burb to get crushed and theres still a lot of good parts left on it and I know a lot of good fellas on here that need some stuff to bring there's up to full potential. This burb didn't deserve what happened.

Re: '71 Burb Build "The Family Car"
Holy Molé Man!! I did not want to see that.Still hoping its a photo chopped pic and a practical joke.Way to close to home as it looks like my Burb wrapped around a tree.Very sry for your loss. From the pics it does not look like the impact buckled the roof at all and your driver door gap still looks the same.Maybe you could get away with just replacing the front clip. Its a Damn shame to see that sweet Burb get hurt like that.If its not yours don't touch it!!!I hate thieves in the worst way and this is one of the many reasons why.I feel for ya Bud.You seem to be taking this very well and I commend you for that.I would be freaking out.I do hope some good comes out of this.If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know

Re: '71 Burb Build "The Family Car"
Well I found out i couldn't get my burb out if i wanted too. There's a hold on it for the investigation. I'm not worried about body damage as I have a front clip off a 71 one ton in my basement waiting to be used its the frame damage that concerns me. Thanks for all the kind words gents I'm trying to stay positive through it all.

Re: '71 Burb Build "The Family Car"
Happy to hear you got it back. Guessing the perp doesn't have any assets to pay for the damage or insurance? Any help from that end?

Re: '71 Burb Build "The Family Car"
I don't have the means or money to do a frame swap or I would have the body off tomorrow. I have to wait till court again in may or June for reimbursement. I'm thinking of parting it out to help out a few good men with there rigs.

Re: '71 Burb Build "The Family Car"
I got the hood pryed open today and it enveiled alot. The frame is toast and the motor wond up hitting the heater core box. I think the brake booster is the only part that isn't damaged under the hood from the wreck. I added two pics to show the extent of the frame damage. I still get the chills everytime I look at it

WOW! It looks like it hit right on the frame. It sucks that you might have to part it. If you start looking for a frame let me know and I'll keep an eye out for you.
