You may have to trade a couple of your 4x4's from your awesome collection for the Crew Cab to my son when I am 6 feet under.
Sorry to break in. I have heard that dry ice is used to do the paintless dent removal, but can't verify it. The standard heat and cool method I'm guessing?

Not wanting to take away all the spit and polish effort, but, the 62 K20 is intriguing. Can we see lots of pictures of it? All your trucks are great reference material. The 62 inner fenders were different part numbers than the rest, remember us finding that out?

Re: 1965 K20 My Latest Find

Cleaned up really nice, as a preserved origional truck and, a great treasure.
Congratulations.

If you get a chance can you please, post a couple of photos of the emergency brake cables/brackets from the rear drums to the front cable attachment. Especially interested in the tension spring, as mine is broken.

Re: 1965 K20 My Latest Find

Every year we have a car show and chicken barbecue at our county fairgrounds put on by the Lyons club. They had 400 cars/trucks this year. We brought 5 , the blue 61 short fleet is my brothers. Decided to do all 4x4s this year. We get there early for good spots. Heres a few shots from yesterday.

As much as I would like to do that , it literally took me a month, working every day in May , to get two of these trucks ready. Only had three batteries, stole one out of the RV Saturday for the white truck. But boy was that chicken dinner worth it !

I should note here, the white 1965 was basically truck number one. Bought it 27 years ago. The beginning of the addiction .

Were lucky on this forum to have someone like you who has the resources to purchase, preserve and show them off. Obviously, a lot of these treasures , before you found them, have been hidden from the public view. Looks like a used car lot circa 1967, a time capsule photo
