Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Thanks and yes we completed the truck in 48 Hours tho the trucks suspension had been handled years ago at Ekstensive. Bascically started with a driving turd. We tore the truck apart, body worked (every panel!), welded some key areas up, painted , full interior (including new panels, dash etc), full stereo system, painted wheels, new tires, all new glass, new solenoids for shaved doors, etc etc. All in two days it was a ton of work to meet the deadline. Videos for sale of the build are on creatingrollingart.com (FYI mod's Im not offering anything for sale..just sayin!

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
What do we have going on here? 1 ton dually suspension, lowered on a short wheel base? Interesting.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Topped off with some 19" wheels...
What's the fuel filler situation on the other side, though, since standard dually flares such as those will interfere with it? |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
I love that blue dually, though I'm not fond of the spike lug covers. Almost looks to be the same blue as my truck.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Nice truck, but it's really hard for me to decide whether I like it better with the SS wheels or with the Torq Thrusts. It looks so good both ways.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Hey I'm middle aged and I think both are improvements over how you got it. It's a tough choice but I tend to like the second pic with the SS wheels.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
I think Im gonna go with the TT's on this one. Whats the tire specs on the tires?
And is that a large Hotwheels collection I spy in the background of the first pic? Last edited by red94chev; 05-11-2011 at 12:08 AM. |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
looks like they are set back further then normal I would guess, more space between the dually flare and back of the tire then there is in front.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Hey everone I have been looking on here for a while, but this is my first post. I just brought this 2000 CCSB dually about a month ago. Cleaned it up today so I thought I would post. Not sure what all I am going to do to it yet. Also I have a 84 GMC that I am going to post in the other section it is more of a project than this one.
