LOL A coworker went on the trip last spring and had a blast. We are planning a group trip with some friends to save money. The plan is 2013 or 2014 so we can save up the money. My luck, it may be 2015.... But we are going to make our best effort so we can to get there sooner. . |

Re: My 66 GMC LWB
Well, I have decided on my dash layout
I'm going to start with the first layout and then eventually move the gauges to the instrument cluster and add a trans temp gauge which should look like the second layout... I will have to remove the choke knob and move the wiper and light switches over to the right one spot to make room for a horizontal vent |

Wow, it’s been 5 years since I last posted on here. Had some health and life issues to deal with but I’ll have to get this thread updated now that my photobucket pics are showing again...

Re: My 66 GMC LWB
Trying to catch up on the progress done lately.
I swapped out the front leaf spring mount and replaced the leafs with a set from a 98 S10 Blazer. Had to add a set of 2 degree shims to get the pinion angle back into specs until I swap the Dana 44 out for a 12 bolt I'm going to rebuild soon |

Re: My 66 GMC LWB
Also finally got my Boyd's tank installed that I purchase over 6 years ago!
Had to have someone extend the filler neck up to clear the frame though. Now just need to get it plumbed up |
