Re: Any other projects in your garage?

No more trucks; got a coupla Harleys which are kinda ongoing;

Bought this last year, second 45 I've owned; not much to do on it besides routine maintenance but I may add saddle-bags and crash bars this year.

This 72 XLCH Ironhead's been mine for ten years now; currently having a cosmetic makeover to get it something like stock.

Here's the gas tank; the rest of it is in the back of the garage or in the spare bedroom!

All I gotta do now is find the bits!

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

I have just a couple projects...

I do have an AMF/Harley sporty all original, great shape...if anyone is interested just drop me a line. Like to see it go to a collector.

I have a shovel head Harley that I am chopping... pretty orginal right now.

I have a 69 Camero, total frame off resto-mod, that is ready to be put back together... just getting ready to do that...

And I just finished up with this....1980 Hallet SS20

Before....and during

after....

I still have this boat... original motor..1240 hours on engine and runs 55 mph (Merc 260 -(chevy 350)).. engine is stock except for updated exhaust and electronic ignition.

hmmm think that's it..lol.. I have other toys... but not "projects"

Cool Hallett, we had an '82 ss open bow when I was a kid with the same engine and similar colors. A friend of mine still owns it and had it at the last regatta. Here's my '91 210, but I wouldn't call it a project, stock 502 has never had a valve cover off, just tune ups and impellers every other year.

I also have a '67 camaro project and the '73 Blazer in addition to several dirt bikes I'm always scewing around with.

I had mine at the last regatta too.. in fact, after the poker run, I had mine parked on the trailer where you had to walk by it to get to the bar-b-q!

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

I parked my '63 Chevy II Super Gas car to run a nostalgia funny car. We're running a blown Pontiac (big surprise, huh?) eventually on 90% nitromethane. We're doing our shakedowns in altered form (no body).

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

I am into the pro touring stuff. Garage needs to be bigger!! The 69 is going to be mini tubbed. The 68 is just a fun car to play with till the 69 is finished.

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

fresh body , 69 nova . no lettering yet

KCIR october -08

altered body ...same chassis indy -07

may -07 (i think ) joliet ill. match race mania . last run on the 72 vega body . look close ....no top , it blew off in the traps.

a few of the nova guys have probably seen this on steves nova site . my brother is the crew cheif and i'm just a wrench head . the driver owner gets a bit honnked when he hears me say that. his reply " just a wrench ?? my life is in your guys hands when i strap in that car "
