Man,I`m picky.I`d take that green faded truck with the dent in the hood before the last two. That primer grey one is just plain silly.Does it even have a front driveshaft.Hard to believe the rear one works.

Thanks for the complements guys. The wheels are American Racing Outlaw I 15''x10''. The tires are Cooper 12.50/33/15. The lift is a factory lift, it came that way from the factory. They install a 8'' block on the rear axle and all spring lift on the front axle. This is the way a 4x4 should be sold from the factory. Unlike Chevy 4x4's sold today, you can't tell if they are a 2wd or 4wd with out placing a 4x4 sticker or emblem designating that.

Thank you!

The first thing I did when I took delivery of my`92 K3500 SRW was get out the heat gun and pull the 4X4 stickers off.I could never figure out what "16" had to do with my truck. Maybe I should have custom stickers made that said 2X8 or 50% of 32.

Too bad you're not closer. I have no problem with fixing frames, in fact I just finished up today fixing a hack job on a '67 swb 2wd frame.

Yeah if you were closer I'd get you to fix it for me. I have it for sale in the parts section now. I'm sure someone could use it. I just hate to srap it.

Dino, your two wheeler is tight. What are you plans for paint if any? How high is your truck? Hard to tell in the picture with your slammed truck. What is the height to the top of the cab? I am in Clarkdale, just down the hill from the world famous ghost town of Jerome.

Hey Rust, glad to see that you are still on here. Have you made any progress on your truck? What year is it and what are your plans for paint? Are you keeping the original drive train or planning any mods or just stock? I like to keep mine pretty much stock other than a set of tires and wheels. Keep posted as there are not many 60-66 4x4 owners on this forum.

Hey Dino, I cant wait to see that truck painted orange. I will try to come down and check out your rides some day when it cools down and not 114-116 degrees, thats way to hot for me.

Here are some more.

I'm with ya, lots of slammies in here. It started as a 65 GMC, has a 66 Chevy cab/nose with a stepside bed hence the mongrel. Stock GMC V6 and suspension will stay. Thinkin about putting a big rear window in, and I CANT figure out a color. I like that dark blue in your last post. It seems like it's taking me forever to finish. Hopefully by fall. Heres a pic of what it started as.

special-K, yes the big rodeo is coming up on the 4TH of July weekend but it is over the hill in Prescott and not in Jerome. They claim it is the worlds oldest rodeo and yes it is a mad house in all of Prescott. Whiskey row continues to be the hot spot over there with drunks, fights and hot women. The red truck has an easy life now,and is only driven on weekends. I guess you don't have any more pics hidden up your sleeves or you would have posted them. Keep watching, there's more 4X4's to come.

Rust, It looks like you have done a lot of work. Did a tree fall on that hood? I take it that the GMC cab was in bad shape. That is to bad because it was a big back window cab. I also prefer big window over the small window cabs. It does seem like it takes forever to finish projects. My 1965 in the first post of this thread has been on and off for the last 4 years. Its hard to find time with work and having other running 64-66 trucks. I hope to see yours completed as planned. Keep posted.
