today was my Garage day since a couple of month , install the new Steering Column and i was really nice to change it , very simple!!
so and here are the picīs , in the 2nd pic is the reason why i changed it into a new column! next step is to install the power steering , maybe tomorrow!!

the ugly one and the beast in and nice and the problem the new pitman arm wonīt fit because it is bend and the original one is straight , i used a 1979 Blazer powersteering! i need help to get the right part! help heeeelp heeeeelllllpppppp please!!!!!!!!!!

Was the Blazer a 2wd because the 4x4 will not work the sector shaft is different.

I agree...
However in looking at the pic of the box closer, it is a 2wd steering box, as the sector shaft is threaded and has the nut on it. That pitman arm on the bottom of the pic is the correct one for a 2wd steering box, and should work just fine on your truck Pat. If there is a clearance problem, the box may not be positioned correctly.

I used a Ididit Steering Column and i bought a adapter from American Autowire Systems with part #37618 and it works perfekt "plug and play"!!

i had trouble with water pump , i figured out that she was leaking but i didnīt found the leak at the first sight !
so i had another water pump in my garage (nearly new without the upper water neck)! a buddy of mine welds an adapter in and now iīve an sender for the Water temperature , next will be install a adapter for the oil pressure !
