Re: Random pictures you took of your K
Got the trans in last weekend. Spent last week tying up loose ends. Drove it back to southern CO to go rock crawling in my buddy's crawler. Very similar cage to the ORD K30 convertible, but this one is on ORD leafs but does have a SM465 and an ORD 203/205 doubler. It works really good.
This guy was a stud. Here's a Truck Night in America winning truck on trail. No quit in that guy.

Re: Random pictures you took of your K
We were at the Independence trail system outside of Penrose Colorado.
It's no joke either. Even the "easy" trail is harder than anything else I've gone down.

Re: Random pictures you took of your K
Wouldn’t it be nice to have all the trucks back that we previously owned!! I know I’d have to buy a larger piece of land to put them on 😂

Re: Random pictures you took of your K
Yep. And same here on needing more land. I never have had enough land for my trucks. I used to have them all over the place at friends', family's and my folks' places.
One I had a while in the '90s. Rustfree California truck. The previous owner said he did the primer because the paint was shot. I got it off with lacquer thinner, re-painted it, Tangiers Orange. 350/4spd, a/c, tach, No-Spin. Mirrors sucked. I put DG4 stainless on

Jeff the current trucks are looking bad ass! I’ve got plane tickets bought for the middle of August and I’m likely going to be staying at my moms house in Kearneysville. I’ll make it a point to come by!

Re: Random pictures you took of your K
I’ve heard about the trails around penrose. A couple guys I work with go up there in modded CJ’s. Looks like a lot of fun.

Re: Random pictures you took of your K
It's rowdy. Honestly, I don't think anything on less than a 38" tire can get out of that canyon without a winch. It's not for folks that like sheet metal. I could see a CJ getting banged up if the wrong line choice is made.

Here is a pic of my 3 K trucks and a pic of my Cheyenne Super K20 long step project. It is on hold while I search for better bed pieces for it.

Re: Random pictures you took of your K
Eric, that is a special truck for so many reasons. I am glad you go ahold of it to bring it back to life the way it truly deserved.
Ryan, I’m pretty sure the orange truck would die if it didn’t have a trailer behind it. Every picture I see of it, has it working it’s ass off! Good to see these things doing what they were intended to do. Orange71shorty, looking great! That’s an awesome angle.
