Re: Project N2Deep
Think I should dust this thing off. I've been working on the house (told myself when I'm done with the house I'll work on the truck-that hasn't happened)

Re: Project N2Deep
Well I did it again, I bought another Chevy truck. I think I keep buying other projects so I don't have to finish my original one??? I picked up a Super Cheyenne SWB 4x4 that I hope will be my last Chevy purchase. I always wanted a 55 Belair Hardtop, get to drive my 67 CST
SWB every day and got another SWB 4x4 (cuz I missed the Black GMC 4x4 I sold a few months ago.) |

Re: Project N2Deep
I purchased 67CHIP72's 1972 Super Cheyenne SWB 4x4. Like I said I have missed the Black GMC SWB 4x4 I sold a few months ago. I told myself that I would buy a 1972 Cheyenne SWB 4x4 one day and use it as my DD when I retired. Well, I saw a post from 67CHIP72 stating he may sell his Super. Now it's in my driveway! Like I told Chuck I wasn't planning on buying anything right now, but how many 1972 Super Cheyenne SWB 4x4 come along for sale.
Of the trucks I have had I enjoyed driving the Black GMC 4x4 the most. It was very well taken care of (mechanically) and just felt right (more ground clearance and larger tires) I plan on going through the Super (frame off restoration) sometime before I retire. I do plan to "keep it simple stupid" on this one-no more trying to be Chip Foose Pic of old truck (71 GMC) & new truck (72 Super) |

Re: Project N2Deep
Nice looking truck. So did you ever sell your other truck. The one that was slammed? Just curious. I like that truck!

Re: Project N2Deep
No updates. I've been working on the house and the Airstream, no time for the project. I did put the front suspension back together. I just need to do a little detail work and I can put the front clip back on. I still need to get the bed sides blasted so I can start working on that end!

Re: Project N2Deep
Nice score on the Super, that will make one sweet truck after it's restored.
Now, I noticed mention of an Air Stream... any updated pics on it?

Re: Project N2Deep
Looks like a nice trailer. I've seen a couple that have been torn down and rebuilt and they turned out great.
Good luck with the plumbing and the maiden voyage!
