Also forgot i got Exhaust installed awhile back. Dual 3" from header back to 24" magnaflow mufflers then all the was your to exit behind the rear tires. Its fairly quiet like i wanted. It doesnt give any drone when cruising or at idle but still has a throaty sound. let me see if i cant get a audio of it.

just dropped the burb off to get the a/c fixed........ Its going to be nice to beat the houston heat!!!

I see yours has rear a/c. Thats on my list of things to do to mine.

Technically it has yet to really put in any work but i optimistic that the A/C shop will get the job done and the rear and main A/C will work properly

When both A/C's are working properly on these Suburbans, they really do a good job cooling down the huge cabin even at 100 degrees. By the way, if the shop is converting the system to R-134A, make sure they change out the condenser for a newer type parallel flow condenser. The newer type of condenser transfers heat better which is needed when using R-134A.

Sweet im glad that the a/c will be able to handle the heat. The owner before me had already converted it over to r-134a.

One other concern i have though is with the compressor. Ive read on here that this style has a tendence not to last very long.

I've been looking for 'this' condenser. I understand I should ask for a 'late-95' condenser but when I go to Oreillys or whatever they don't differentiate. How do we tell for sure that we're getting one that's a direct swap w/the stock R12 unit that works best w/the R134 (w/o the parts guys help)?

well i got the suburban back this morning and its running the old style condenser. I talked to the A/C guy and he said he wouldnt worry about it and wouldnt change it unless i get a leak or something. So ill just stick with what i got. Im fixing to test how well it cools on my way home.

Got my new air filter in and touched up the engine bay and brake booster with the satin black. I couldnt wait for the weekend.
