I drove the '72 Dually part of the summer. I put a crate 350 with an NV4500 5 speed overdrive trans in it. I finished the '67 Panel the end of August and have been driving it ever since. I have about 1600 miles on it so far. It sports a Chevy LS1/4l60e combo. I'm havin' fun.....

Re: Pictures of your daily driver trucks

My daily driver. I'm always looking for an excuse to run to the store...( whats that dear? You need me to run for something? Are you sure?? I'll be back, I think I left my wallet on the counter..) It's very sad when I get within 100 feet of the house, the steering wheel gets stiff and sometimes I can't get it to turn into the driveway and I have to go a couple of miles down the road to find a place to turn around!! LOL

Re: Pictures of your daily driver trucks

I purchased my C30 from the original owner with 86,000 original miles on it roughly 2 months ago. This is a 100% rust free CT. truck that still sports its original Hugger orange paint job, almost unheard of around here. In the short time I have owned it I have already put 2000 miles on it. Cruising around the back roads where I live is lots of fun with the SM465 4 speed and 4.10's out back! It won't be long before I put it in the garage until April though. Once they start putting that calcium crap on the roads its time for my truck to go into hibernation.
First pic is from this past August, the day I brought her home. (A guy followed me home off the highway and asked if it was for sale, nope, sorry!) Second pic is from a car and truck show I took it to last month. Matter of fact I'm headed out the door right now for a little cigar cruise...

That's an amazing find and a beautiful survivor. Congrats!

Don't see many "W" motors in our trucks. Love it...you have the gears turning in my head now.

Re: Pictures of your daily driver trucks

I sometimes miss mine as a daily. I'd like to one day buy a decent truck to drive daily to save the miles on my 05.

This is how she looked as my DD.

This is how she looks now.
