Matt. It's those things in life that are great!! I wasn't as lucky as you, my girls have no interest. Now... whats with the shorts and flip flops you guys? You look like Boyd wanna be's Good to see ya smile again. Now, get the work boots, jeans, safety glasses, and gloves and tear sh** up. There are twice as many hands on deck now!!

I'll be down to check it out soon.
Will the mods let you start a separate build thread for Taylor's truck? Hope so.

I've known you a long time buddy, I'm anxious to see your version of doing it "ugly but cheep" not how you roll my friend.

Re: 67 short fleet

Posi rear end together and coating it with Rust Seal. I found the product at a swap meet and like it. I have kind of moved to getting the frame and suspension done first. Frame is damaged from an accident some time in the trucks life. I hope to pull the engine and trans soon to be able to measure what needs to be done. Single life is great, I just have more things to do. Happily Divorced my friends.

•Brass-to-brass gun connections for enhanced connectivity
•Large industrial closed-design drive motor for improved torque and trouble-free performance
•No hassle tool-less design -- for wire spool mounting, wire drive service and polarity changes
•Innovative contact tip, drive roll and nozzle storage -- keeps all your consumables close at hand

Re: 67 short fleet

Some progress. Removed an upper control arm and blasted it and have the new bushing kit mocked up. Removed the engine today. Hope to get the frame to the body shop soon for the repair.

Re: 67 short fleet

Stripped my truck frame of the rear end and all the front suspension today to flip it to do some welding on the trailing arm mount cross member. I added 4 inch rings so I can run my exhaust through them. Hope to blast it soon.

Re: 67 short fleet

Slow but sure progress. I had the frame completely coated with rust seal and did not like the satin finish, so I scuffed the frame down, recoated with another coat of rust seal then topped it off with 2 coats of black top flat. What a pain in the ass! I don't like haw loose the front springs are when it is off the ground, seems like there should be a limit or something.

No, I don't think it would do much good with the 3" lowering springs.

Re: 67 short fleet

I picked up a 2005 5.3 LM7 and a 4L60e within the last few months. Slow but sure progress. Picked up a LS6 intake. I've been working on the harness. I need to set one of my cabs on the frame to figure out where the engine will sit.
