Re: lets see your custom touches
Why doesn't anyone cut the dash for a 7" GPS/Radio/CD/DVD/Bluetooth/Telephone receiver? Is there not enough room behind it for one of those to fit? Just wondering why?

Re: lets see your custom touches
For the navigation I could see depth being a possible issue or having to give up either your ashtray or ac vent or both
As for depth it wouldn't be hard to extend it outward really if that's what a guy wanted |

Re: lets see your custom touches
I'm only embarrassing myself after posting behind jtp67-72 and ryanroo, but here is my junk. I'll definitely be stealing some ideas from the cool touches in this thread! Sorry for the washed out pics of the body...

Re: lets see your custom touches
My interior door panels were looking like they were 40+ years old.... so I used some laminate flooring to make new panels. I used some chrome pinch on molding around the edges so it had a finished look. Now the door panels have a similar look to my oak bed.

Re: lets see your custom touches
Built the front end the way it should have been for a 71 GMC. Just enough chrome to blind you when I am behind you.

Re: lets see your custom touches
The chrome is nice, the new ones are just plastic in your rear view mirror.

Re: lets see your custom touches
HO70 why not put it in the ashtray? Like the use of gas tank space, sounds like a good idea.

Re: lets see your custom touches
Haven't done a single one
But if I had theoretically done any I think this would be the most useful one hypthetically. A tow hook mounted low enough that you can hook onto it without messing up bumper or scratching anything.
