Re: '65 SWB Patina Build
Also, all nearly $400 worth of patch panels finally showed up!
Just waiting on PB stuff now. Most of the CPP brake stuff is starting to go on. |

Re: '65 SWB Patina Build
Yeah haha.
On a side note the local plating shop wants $375 to Chrome plate it. Includes cleaning, pulling out dents (this grille doesn't have any). Pretty expensive but I'm going to have it done. Picked up a chrome fleetside rear bumper for $40 |

Re: '65 SWB Patina Build
ECE mounts. Normally I would have just made my own, but these look well built. Haven't installed them yet so no comments on that.

Re: '65 SWB Patina Build
PB bag setup just showed up. Hit a stopping point due to missing bag hardware. Have to grab some tomorrow.

Re: '65 SWB Patina Build
It's mostly in. I've always noticed that measuring never really works, it's more fit and feel. Decided to do measurements only this time and the fit was way off despite my measurements being good. I'm at a stopping point until tomorrow when my lower A pillar comes in. But the footwell is in also. Need to drill new holes as the alignment is marginal at best. |

Re: '65 SWB Patina Build
Replacement piece looks pretty good. That small gap is an easy fix with a copper spoon backing the gap while you fill with wire.

Re: '65 SWB Patina Build
Got one mounted. Dog ate the other fitting that literally just came in the mail today so I can't mount it yet.

Re: '65 SWB Patina Build
Left the box open on the ground and the puppy (almost a year now) got to them. He doesn't chew anything important/expensive. Just random plastic pieces usually. ...Like my brand new push lock fitting.

Testing. Jack was still under it in the pic. Moving into my new shop today, and swapping a black Volvo interior in the race car.

Haha right on. I bought a mint 93 245 te other day at auction for $500. 108k original miles, perfect black interior etc. Owner abandoned it due to a broken driveshaft u joint. T started right up. Spent the last few days swapping interior and random parts with mine, then selling it.

Is that all the way down? Or is the jack still keeping it from bottoming out?
