Thanks a bunch. It's getting there one bolt and nut at a time.

I will have some more updates soon. I am working on the interior pieces and misc items to get it ready for paint and final wiring. Hopefully it will be moving under it's own power by spring time.

I am leaning towards keeping it flat black. I originally wanted it the new Lexus blue with black wheels but I got a good deal on the Boss wheels so I went with those. I may keep it flat black for a while than in a few years blow it apart and make it a show truck.

Are we ever really done?? I think this one is going to go on and on like the energizer bunny.

Cool. I like the flat black. I have a 68' SWB that I will be building for my son once my 72 is done and he also wants flat black w/flames. You have done a great job. I'll be following your build, just don't keep the pictures from us for too long. We are all a bunch pic junkies.

Re: My First

I got them from tire discounters. They ordered them in but it only took a couple of days.
I wouldn't think they would have discontinued that size already but who knows.
I just checked them again and they are 285/40/18 so I am not sure why you cannot located them.

Yes they are easy to install and look great. I just wish I knew why I cannot center it better.

How's it going 67cheby.

I thought about that also. I am going to double check but everything lines up great except the bumper. What is the best way to check for square. I have measure the cab to the frame on both sides at the front and at the rear and the measurements are right on.

I hope so too. I guess I am going to loosen up everything and see if I can close the gap with out causing issues at the bed line. Right now everything lines up very well.

Thanks for the kind words Alvin.
