There's more stuff like that out in the rocky mountain west. I remember the place off I-25 near Wheatland Wyoming with all the tri-5's. I'm not surprised it got sold eventually. I used to drive by there in the late 80's and he had a ton of nice stuff.

Is anyone willing to give up the location of this collection yet?I hope it survived the high scrap prices.

Re: Look at this... One mans collection rotting into ground...

I would suggest going to your county's recorder's office and seeing if they can help you.

Someone gets a tax bill for the property, find out who bills them and you're in.

Re: Look at this... One mans collection rotting into ground...

There is a guy like that here by me also. He has a whole yard full of 67-72 trucks, but will only sell the rotted crap, and wants your first born for that. I don't know what they are saving this stuff for.

There was another yard not too far from me. He only delt with antique cars. He had 5 acers of cars and trucks dating from the 30s thru the mid 70s. At the time I was building a 64 Plymouth Fury for my father. He had 5 of them. They were neatly stacked with tires between them. Chargers, Superbees, Tri 5 cars and trucks.

Long story short, he died, and the cars were sent to salvage or auction. This is another guy who wouldn't sell the whole car or truck, and wanted your first born for the parts.

Re: Look at this... One mans collection rotting into ground...

With this thread being 3 years old I can only imagine how much worse those trucks are. Especially since most of the trucks have busted out windows.

Some save them from the crusher and others save them for the crusher.I haven't seen Bagged91 in a year or more.I used to see him at swap meets after he kinda disappeared from here after his divorce.
