Thanks guys.

So I'm going to let the cat out of the bag a little here. Decided to go viper red on the chasis and drive train and firewall, rest of truck will stay the same but with a few additions to fit the theme. It is a zombie hunter truck and the sole purpose of this truck is to mow down zombies. It's so much fun seeing people's expression when they here the theme. Feel free to share any thoughts or ideas.

Re: 71 C10 project "Double Tap"

Got some more progress today. Finished up the frame rails and built the upper shock mount crossmember. Along with a lot of other grinding and welding.

uhh... it's awesome! Just don't let any teenage girls trick you into giving it to them during the ZA, unless one of them is Emma Stone.

I'll keep that in mind. I don't think I'm going to paint a number 3 on the door either.

Thanks guys. I guess I need to get back at it and finish the front crossmember and front shock mounts so I can get to mocking up the tranny and carrier bearing crossmember.

Re: 71 C10 project "Double Tap"

Got the front xmember done yesterday so I set the motor and trans back in to figure out my trans mount and carrier bearing location. Today I will be installing the rearend and hooking the driveshaft up to check pinion angles and making sure the driveline is the right length for the wheelbase. But nothing says more than pictures. I'll try and get some up this morning.
