Oh yes! Your set now. It's getting them started that takes the longest.

Re: 72 C10 SWB -- Project "KISS"
Thanks! I think they came out nice and were a fraction of the cost of the correct 72 buckets. Maybe one day I'll hit the lottery and find the correct ones in the junkyard, but til then... these will do!

Re: 72 C10 SWB -- Project "KISS"
To me they look like a custom seat that is equally as nice as original buckets but then again I have never had original buckets in one of our trucks .

Re: 72 C10 SWB -- Project "KISS"
Cleaned up and repainted Emblems. I know the orange isn't the correct color for the "10" and "SUPER", but I kinda like the idea of having them match the engine color

Re: 72 C10 SWB -- Project "KISS"
Quick update that's not much of an update ...
I'm sad and embarrassed to say the truck has been in paint jail now for ... wait for it ... over 5 years. But I'm not mad. In part because I know the jailers pretty well. They are a Mom and Pop and Son shop and have done other work for me in a professional and timely fashion over the past 20 years. In fact, when they shot a car for me in what was an incorrect version of a color, they repainted it for me -- for free -- in the correct version of the color. Since it was the same paint code they could have told me sorry we shot the right color.. but they didn't. So between our history and what they and everyone have dealt with as far as the COVID situation over the last year, I'm not that upset. But I would like my truck back THIS year : ) That's all I got on this ... I'm sure a bunch of you guys have had your own special paint jail problems!

That's a neat truck. I don't know what to even think about your paint situation. But at least you're not mad.

Re: 72 C10 SWB -- Project "KISS"
I'm guessing this build died altogether. sad. I wonder what happened to the owner, or the truck
