I am also 15. I am doing a 1964 k10. Go on youtube and check out "gibson63" He is doing a 1963 chevy. He does some of the best work i have seen. shows the steps in great detail. I would go and watch some of his videos. he is amazing.

Hey I'm 16. Nice to see another guy my age here. lol 4X4's rock! I've seen many of Gibson's videos. He has a sweet truck. He's apart of this club. Username "Boat." He pops up once in a blue moon. Hope your truck is going well.

Hey! Great to see more young guys on here. I would like to see what your doing to your truck. Do you have a build thread? What are your plans? I've seen some of gibson63's videos and he does great work.

Thanks for the compliments grizz, I try to get something done every day on the truck and stay motivated so that the truck is ready by the time I'm 17. I don't know what the laws are like over in the uk, but here I can get my learner at 16 and drive with an adult for a year. Then at 17, I can get my novice licence and drive on my own.

Welded some more of the bumper mounts, this will slide and bolt into the frame and the angled end will bolt to the pieces I made earlier with the oblong holes

Got the t5 installed today

. Still need to shorten the driveshaft and cut the new hole in the tunnel but it looking pretty sweet already

Thanks, I bet it gets cold and loud! I plan on putting some kind of insulation/ sound detonator under the rubber mat to solve this problem.

Thanks, it should be fun and functional

. I can already tell even without driving it that it shifts so much smoother than the old sm420. And I'll get better gas mileage

I thought this was the original shifter boot the whole time but when I looked on the bottom side of it I read f*rd! Hopefully the disease hasn't spread to the rest of the truck already!
