Re: pictures of shortbox stepsides
Here's a pict from way back. It is currently being redone as a frame off. For the past 7 years.

Re: pictures of shortbox stepsides
Quote:
Ford 9" out of a Esquire Wagon (a bit beefier), narrowed with Moser axles and modified Explorer rear discs. Detroit locker with 3.64 Visteon gears, QA1 adjustable coilovers (150lb springs, and it is SOFT) fully adjustable 4 link with adjustable heims, Mark Williams billet yoke & Mark Williams aluminum driveshaft. Dropped about 10" in the picture, will drop another inch before it is on the road. TH400 w/ manual reverse valve body w/trans brake, 3,600 stall. Only mod to the frame was the notch for axle travel (which turned out to be not enough), and that will be changed to a step notch for more travel. Wheels are Wheel Vintique 15" X 12" with 31" X 16" Mickey Thompson. Should have went with a 15" X 14", but oh well. Side shot: Tank is a summit unit with sump & Aeromotive A1000. Tubs will be cut down trailer fenders. Picked up the motor today, forged 365.
