Re: '68 GMC 1 ton dually restoration
Spent a few hours on the truck today, was able to get the dent below the window straighten out and filled. Needs a little more work in the bottom corners then it will be ready for primer. |

Re: '68 GMC 1 ton dually restoration
She's coming right along. Looks a mile long without a bed. Hard to believe that "as long as it is, it's still shorter than my truck was in the beginning".
Anyhow, it is looking great. Keep up the good work.

Re: '68 GMC 1 ton dually restoration
Well with the holiday weekend here thought it would be appropriate to spend it working on the truck. Spent most of yesterday painting a few parts. Hopefully I will be able to finish painting the rest of it within the next few weekends. |

Re: '68 GMC 1 ton dually restoration
No I'm going to leave the bumper Chrome along with the headlight bezels. Thought the chrome would stand out better if the grill was painted.

Well nothing too exciting to update on, front and rear windows are in. Most of the hardware is ready to hang the body panels some time during the week |

Re: '68 GMC 1 ton dually restoration
Didn't get as far as I wanted this weekend but had to put some time in on a new project that I just started. Probably will hang the fenders tomorrow if it doesn't rain. |
