Looking real Good, and coming along nicely.

It looks really close on the Distributor area. kinda looks like the wires are touching the Firewall in the pic,
did you modifi the firewall in the distributor area?

its got me skeerd, on my 52 build I have a stock firewall,
and was thinking about running HEI,
I am also wanting to put my fuel tank in the 48 location.(thanks for the great pics)

The distributor is very close. I did not modify the depth of the firewall but the guy before me I believe did. If I have trouble with that distributor, I may have to go with a smaller one.

Nice truck, that color looks good with the 5 spokes !!

Good luck with the dog house!!!

I think that was the hardest part of my build on the 53 and the 55, just take your time and make everything fit the hood !!

I pretty well have the truck done. Here are some of the final pictures. I am anxious to get it outside if the weather would cooperate. Thanks everyone for your help in answering questions on this build.

Here is the texture on the running boards, it turned out really good

Got the AC and Heat all hooked up, need to charge the air if it ever warms up

All new oak bed

I pulled the rear bumper in a few inches

Interior done

Some 100% imitation Leather and Ostrich

That's nice! It's hard to believe anything that nice came from Springfield(Joking the wife and I have a lot of family in that area).Hopefully I'll get to see it in person this summer at a car show in MO. I can only wish I ever have one this nice.

I would have to measure. Fairly close to stock. I did move the rear back about 1 1/2" the front may be forward just a hair from original. It has Mustang 2 IFS.

i could tell it wasn't stock and it looks very good, i am putting a frame together and i am curious what your dimensions are....keep up the good work your truck looks awesome...
