Re: How old were you when your truck was new?

I was 12 in '67 and 17 in '72. Bought a '72 off the OK Used Car lot at Sport Chevrolet in '73 when I was 18. Some fool traded it in to get the "latest greatest" thing. I'll be dead when I get rid of them

Re: How old were you when your truck was new?

Great question! I was about 7 1/2 years old at Grand Canyon N.P., when it came off the Safford, AZ dealer lot. I was fascinated with the "new" modern side lights on cars.

Re: How old were you when your truck was new?

I was 24 when I bought my '69 new at Barton's Chevrolet in Yorba Linda, CA. on Nov 20, 1969. I don't feel THAT old!!!! It's a damn good thing that truck (and camper) can't talk!

You are a very smart man to have kept both all this time. I love that and would like to hear some of the stories. The G rated ones at least.

Re: How old were you when your truck was new?

When my GMC was born in March 1971, I was already the owner of one of the baddest trucks ever built. A huge, all steel, big azz lime green monster 1970 Tonka dump truck that I rode like a horse. I started "kinneygarden" that fall.
