Nope. I guess I'm one of the last ones on the list! I'll eventually get them!

Thanks alot! This project is a slow build. Not going to get in a hurry on it.

AND I've got some good news! First and the best news! Last Thursday my wife gave birth to my second little girl weighing in at eight pounds! She's adorable! We got to come home Saturday! Everything is going smooth.

Second I finally bought some land in this ridiculous town, so hopefully I can get started on building my own shop and go into buisness for myself! So... Don't expect any updates from this guy for quite awhile!

I don't have an opinion on the wheels/tires because it really won't make any difference because anything will look good on this ride. You need to go with what you like.

Thanks I even thought about a setup like you have on your stepside!

I love the white walls on the silver truck also, but probably not so much on this one.

Thanks a lot! Thats the thing with these trucks there's endless options that look great, sometimes it gets kinda hard to pick.

2nd choice (& much easier on the wallet w/the 2 projects & new family addition), would be OE black or grey steelies w/some standard black wall tires.
If WW's are a 'must-have', skinny standard WW's.

I'm leaning more to these two options, rather than a set of intros and the smoothies will even be cheaper than the intros. Intros is what I was wanting when I started this build, but I'm having second thougths now.

I also like the OE grey steelies with skinny WW's (I wouldn't run wide whites on this truck). Black walls would look good, I just think the skinny whites would add a little bit more to the look. Thanks for your advice!

Re: Project: Old Timer...

i like what you're running right now. repaint the wheels if ya want, tho i'm kinda diggin the whole look, down to the patina'd paint. it's givin' off that barn-find look but with a wicked stance.

The more I look at it , Im would drive just like it is now. No body work,no expensive wheels and tires. Drop in your drive train and your almost ready to roll

I know that would be sweet, but I want this truck all fresh paint and really clean! I'd rather throw a drive train in my silver 68 and start driving it again. That'll probably be my goal this winter is get the silver 68 back on the road even if I don't do all I want to.
