Re: 20/22" steelies?
They are from wheel vintiques... They might not list the 18s yet but with a few phone calls you can get them... They were bare steel and we powdered the lips in a chrome like finish then the centers black..

Re: 20/22" steelies?
you can go with 17 x 7.5's steelies from late model Toyota FJ Cruisers. matter of fact, they are 4.5" backspaced.
now my next modification secret is out....

Working on my panel that's going to have the dodge 20's. There's also this build on the 47-59 threads.

Re: 20/22" steelies?
You guys know that GM has 17" steel spare tires too now right?
I'll dig up a pic, but look under any late model GM truck. With a center cap, they could look right at home. And they share the same 6 lug pattern. Don't recall if GM uses 5 lugs on the modern trucks anymore though. Only issue is back spacing and hub size. But, if you guys let me know I can fit some up tomorrow while I'm slappin new tires on and see if we can dig up a spare at the dealership Last edited by texanidiot25; 07-10-2009 at 10:05 PM. |

Re: 20/22" steelies?
I have mustang II brakes with a bolt pattern of 5 on 4.5. Do you think thats enough meat on the hub to re-drill for the larger 5 on 5.5?

Re: 20/22" steelies?
Couple questions. 1. Do the Wheel Vintiques 18's match the Dodge 20's? 2. Does Dodge have a 18" spare that matches the 20"? Getting ideas myself. lol

Re: 20/22" steelies?
Chevelle, I had a friend who owns a machine shop drill the rotor's and axle's, so that cost nothing, the wheels were $300, which is a little high but whatever, the tire's i traded some bodywork for, so pretty much just the price of the wheels!
glad you like it, i think it should look pretty cool when its finished. |

Be sure to post some pics when you are done, I have yet to see a "completed" truck with these wheels on it.
