Re: purgatorio
Tiddlar, I can't believe with this much progress you haven't laid eyes on the truck yet. If it was me I wouldn't be able to sleep! How far away is it from you?

Re: purgatorio
Right? I don't have the kind of doe to get a flight go look hotel and fly back... Took me a while to save for all these parts and work... I'm in Tucson Az and truck is in Joplin mo. Truck is about month to month and half from being done with sheet metal and chassis stage.

Re: purgatorio
How does his price compare to Tre5, now that you are more than half way finished?

Re: purgatorio
since these fenders are round unlike the 55-59 years which are square. the tire is 1/2 inch from touching where the fender starts to round off. its growing on me. the video he took put me at ease.

Re: purgatorio
Your truck is looking incredible and I think the rear tire to fender looks good. Wouldn't change a thing.
What are your plans for paint and powertrain? |

Re: purgatorio
thank you appreciate the compliment. I bought a t56 magnum case for mock up so t56 6 speed for tranny. Small block chevy twin turbo for motor. Im looking at the gale banks twin turbo system. its more affordable to me then getting turbonetics turbos, hogans intake etc.. the kit has everything you need. I'm running the moser m9 with 370 gears and 35 spline axles.

It's the little subtle touches most people don't see, but makes the truck stand out from the rest!
