I was doing a a search for Stepsides vs Fleetsides to see if there was a post on why there are so many more Fleetsides than Stepsides and found this thread.

So is there an answer?

Stepsides are my favorite.

I think why I favor the shortbed step-sides along with a small back window is they appear to me as 'older'. The stepsides look like old trucks, and the small back window adds to the 'old' look.

makes me wish mine was a short bed stepper. Mine is a long bed and just looks ugly haha I do have a good long bed fleetside that may find its way onto my truck sometime....
