Re: Carpet Group Purchase

The numbers represent the number of buyers in the group purchase. There are 3 price structures, one for 10-19 buyers, 20-29 buyers and 30+ buyers. Since we've got around 22, we're going to be in the 20-29 buyer column.

Check your PMs for info on the colors. I can't send you a sample of every color available, but I'm happy to send you a couple.

All of the information is a few posts back... maybe the last one on page 3 or somewhere around there.

Pricing will be in the 20-29 buyer bracket even though I'm sure we won't wind up with that many who pay by the deadline.

I also mentioned a potential issue with carpet fitment in the small hump trucks, so you need to be sure that you're willing to accept the risk that it may not fit well before you submit payment. If you choose not to go through with it because of the transmission hump issue, just let me know so I can scratch you off the list.

Anyway, take a look at my post at the end of page 3 and let me know if you have any questions/comments/concerns.

Re: Carpet Group Purchase

Just a reminder guys, Payment is due by Tuesday.

I had over 25 guys say that they wanted to be part of this group purchase, but so far I've only had THREE people actually submit payment.

Re: Carpet Group Purchase

Generally when I submit an order, it takes them a day or two to manufacture the carpet and ship it.

However... because I'm going to be submitting orders for so many carpets that will need the same mold, it's not realistic to think that they'll all go out in a day or two. Depending on just how many carpets there are per mold style, it will probably take longer, though I would still be surprised if it took more than a week for all of the carpet orders to ship out.

Re: Carpet Group Purchase

Bill, I did recieve your payment. Thank you.

so far, I have received payment from only 5 of the ~20 people who said they were planning to participate.

If any of the remaining 15 guys intend to get carpet, I need payment today.

I have to say that only having 25% of the participants actually pay is quite a disappointment.

For those that have paid, I will put together the order and fax it in tomorrow. I'll post on the forum when I get confirmation that orders are beginning to ship, and I'll also post some installation tips to help with installation.

Thanks
--Jim

Re: Carpet Group Purchase

Does the carpet go all the way to the back of cab? For cabs without the tank.

When I talked to the manufacturer a couple weeks ago, they said that the carpet is designed to extend to the rear wall of the vehicle and would need to be trimmed to accomodate the tank, so I believe that this carpet should work well for those who have relocated the tank.

Re: Carpet Group Purchase

The group purchase is now closed. Without double-checking my spreadsheet, I believe that we had a total of seven buyers.

The order will get processed and faxed in today, and I'll keep everybody updated on shipping.

Thanks

Re: Carpet Group Purchase

The business is in North Adams. It's actually my father's body shop, but a little while ago we decided to branch out into accessories in hopes that he can get away from some of the painting, and as part of that, I picked up some lines that I knew would be popular with the thirdgen crowd that I'm a part of.

Re: Carpet Group Purchase

The order is progressing. I received a call from the manufacturer today to clear up a question she had with the model year on one of the orders. I should start receiving shipping notifications in the next couple days, and I'll provide them to the appropriate individuals as they come in.

Came in Wednsday, looks great. I'll let you know in a year or so how it fits. The headliner is still sitting in the back of my Impala.
