HELLYA we like it!Welcome from Maryland.I like everything about your truck.I have a short step GMC 4wd planned(got parts).I have something like yours in mind.Even have an old tailgate like yours. Ok,standard question:"How much lift does it have?"(Already got tire size, thanks)

That is a great looking truck Shoooter. Yeah, we like it alot! Looks like alot of work went into your bumpers too. They look great. Gotta love these GMC's, but I'm a little biased!
What part of BC ya from? Bill.

Re: 67-72 short box 4x4 trucks... lets see pics
Thanks for the comments. the bumpers were not that hard to build, i bent up the center section on a break then used some tube and plate for the rest. as for lift on the truck i have a 6" susp and a 3" body lift.

Re: 67-72 short box 4x4 trucks... lets see pics
Well this is a 70 SWB 4x4 that we are going to fix up for my son when he turns 16. Hope it will be as nice as some of the ones posted someday.
70 SWB 69 LWB for motor and some parts will part it out when we get the parts we need off it. 68 SWB bed I found on craigslist floor is bad but the side are good and solid and the floor of the 70 is good with bad sides. |

Re: 67-72 short box 4x4 trucks...
I missed this thread somehow... Here's mine pre-teardown. I looked all over the northeast for a SWB 4x4 fleet, this one ended up being 1/2 mile from my house sitting in someone's back yard for years. It looks quite different present day, hoping to have it finished for summer 2014.

kester- That is one clean looking truck! Man thats awesome. Is that stock suspension?? Trying to find some ideas for my build. Haven't decided if I want to do a lift on it or not. Kind of leaning toward stock. Anyhow great looking rig!

Ikester- that is a sweet truck, I like the clearance lights. You've got to get some pictures of that color on the sun!
