Re: WTB magazine ad
I may have the ad your looking for. My mother in law is a packrat and has saved everything since 1966! My wife brought home a big (like 200) pile of these old magazines. So far I have paged through about 20 of them and have found 5-6 67-72 truck ads. I believe one of them was the ad you pictured. I will check this week and let you know. If it is the right ad I will send you the whole magazine so I don't f@#k it up trying to get it out. The process won't be simple. First I will have to sort out just the 1972 magazines then visit every page in each of them. Dave

Re: WTB magazine ad
I recently went on a safari to search for this ad.
I knew we were close with all of the keep out signs. They only put these up when there is something good that they're trying to hide! |

Re: WTB magazine ad
I still am looking through magazines. I have gone through about 50 now. I have found a 71 ad and an ad with a 69 in it. Still 150 to go! Also some awesome car ads. These magazines go all the way back to 1960! Neat stuff. It will take some time to look through them. They are Look, Life, Redbook. Also some Popular Mechanics from 1977. Alot of truck ads in the Popular Mechanics if anybody needs something from 1977. Just post here what you need and I can let your know if I see them, since I'm looking through them all! I'll keep you posted.

Re: WTB magazine ad
Asa,I`m torn two ways here.I`d love to see you find this ad and I hope after all this that it`s a perfect example, truly. But,I`m buckin`for the 5th page to roll around and I`m really enjoying this thread. So,if you do find it anytime soon could you keep it to yourself and keep posting at least a few more until this hits page 5?That would be really great and you may find more if you do.Thanks from a loyal member of your ad search task force. Our motto,"We don`t search,we find!"Hoowah!!!

Re: WTB magazine ad
Ok I will give my .0000000000000000000000000000000000000002 cents worth. A lot of the antique malls have dealers that sells old magazine. I would stop in a few and see what comes up. Another might be in Hemming classifieds. It might take a little longer but just think of the hunt. Good Hunting!!!
