Re: Pics of our trucks - payload
Here's a picture on my '69 3/4 ton with 2 tons of gravel when I was grading for the garage, and the second one is it hauling wood for the garage.

Re: Pics of our trucks - payload
Here are some pictures that I took of my truck hauling lately.
load of osb at home depot load of siding that I ripped off a house load of gravel that weighed in at 2900 pounds Same load of gravel, truck could have hauled more, tires couldn't Same load of gravel, still had some suspension travel left. The airbags had about 120 psi in them. Load of trash that weighed 1800 pounds I blew it on this one, I forgot to take a picture before I unloaded. all the wood in the pile directly behind my truck (not the wood in the background) came out of my truck. It was about 200' of 6' high wood fencing. I had it stacked higher than my cab and about 2' past my tailgate. Who says that a shortbed (almost a short bed, still have to cut out another 8") with airbags can't haul!

Here is a pic with a load from this year. Last year I felt a little tougher than I did this year.

Re: Pics of our trucks - payload
Holy crap thats some big logs! Mine is currently jammed to the top of the camper shell with two sets of heavy WWII vintage 7' tall steel shelving, two large spare wheels/tyres (one 31x 10.5" Baja Claw from the truck and a 235/75/15 from the blazer) the entire aluminium frame from our 6' x8' greenhouse, two 5' x 2' wooden workbenches from the greenhouse and the tarp skin from my costco 10' x 20' tarp garage, all ready for the house move. Its surpising how much stuff you can get inside a long fleet! I'll take a picture later.

Re: Pics of our trucks - payload
Sad thing about that picture is that was only 1/3 of the tree. It took me 3 loads to get that tree home, but it heated the house for the winter.

Re: Pics of our trucks - payload
I dont have any pictures but will be sure to take some next time. We use my 71 C20 with a stake body dump and a dual wheel set up to haul shingles from roof jobs and have often weighed in at the landfill with over 4000 in payload. The record was when I went for gravel to patch the potholes in the driveway truck weighed in at 6200 empty weighed out loaded with gravel at 13400.Drove home real slow that day.
