I checked out those valve covers from Clayton in person at Knoxville this weekend and they are killer, you need a set!

Man the truck is looking sick!!!!! I was just looking through your guys website trying to find the rear brace for the bed like in the picture above. Do you know the model # so I can order one. I looked but can't find it. Thanks alot and keep up the great work!!!!!!

Truck is going to look great!

You have the engine/tranny in the front, but essentially no weight in the rear. The bedwood, tailgate, bumper and cab should help bring the rear down.

I thought the same thing but I'm a fat-a!@%$ and I don't compress the springs that much. I've got to weigh as much as wood and a full tank of fuel

The problem with the pic is there is low light in the shop. If you do not flash it, the shutter has to stay open much much longer resulting in blurry pics.

The longest open shutter you can hold is about a 1/15. Any lower than that and you need a tri-pod.

Burnham, set up a few lights or open the doors and get more light in.

Here's a pic of Jon's headers,sweet. I think he said they were off a passenger car, they seem to have the rite fit, higher up in the frame, now he can run his exhaust along the frame rails. For all you guys dragging metal

Thanks Jim- I need to set my laptop back up and get pics of the camera. Today I installed the upper part of the rear shock relocation kit and also got the front cross back on the truck.

The headers are another set of Thorleys for GM passenger cars. They're mid-length and fit perfect. There's good clearance on the mounts, frame, etc. and I can't see a reason NOT to use these on lowered trucks.

This morning I installed the Early Classic super track bar, the lower shock relocation mounts, 6" lowering springs and reinstalled the shocks.

If you're an idiot like me read (or should I say "Heed") the part of the directions that says to jack the frame to take the weight off. While bracing myself by holding the top of the axle tube I reached under and dropped the nuts off the "U" bolt......apparently that's not too bright. "Frame, axle tube....axle tube, frame". It smarts. Fortunately the powder coating kept it from dropping slowly as the nuts came off and broke free all at once dropping the frame in one fell swoop.
