Re: dmv fee
We have it a little bit easier here in good ol NC. Being over 35 years old, that makes us exempt from any state or local inspections. So, means were not held o any state standards on exhaust, but lights, horns, signals have to work of course. My yearly taxes ran $16, which is $4 more than my insurance through USAA at only $12 a month. Tags & taxes ran about $30 for antique plates.

i feel for you cali boys, i too live in arkansas. i have 5 old trucks registered in this state and have sequential plate numbers as antique plates. $15 each, one time, for life. a little more than 64fleetside says, but i live in a bigger county. i never have to go back to the dmv for tags again. i did sell a truck to a guy in temecula, ca and he said that pre 72 doesn't have to have seat belts or emission tests. he has a arkansas address to use so he can keep the arkansas plates... he's cruising around for nothing. maybe you guys should move to the natural state. although you might want to stay away from the banjo music. ha. |
