Re: Blackbird
Ya the slip yolk is there right behind the support bearing. To get the u joint right next to the bearing for a longer rear shaft is twice the price. This complete 2 piece shaft was $380.

Re: Blackbird
It's all Accuair, the stuff is amazing.
Drive shaft came from a little place here in Burbank. It was cheaper than I've paid in the past and looks great. |

Re: Blackbird
Does the driveshaft have two slip joints? Just curious, yours is the first 2pc Ive seen with a droppmember, and is what I need to do with my suburban.

Re: Blackbird
mine was like that when i got it. so now i got the rear slip joint shaft from cpp in mine, think it cost me a little over $200 but i went and picked it up, it works pretty good to, you should look into it. its worth it in my opinion. also flip the carrier bearing mount and that will help as well, it sure did on mine.

Re: Blackbird
here you go:
cpssd: Slip Shaft Driveline (collapsed 33.75” - max expanded 36.5”), each 199.00. here is a link as well, i have just the driveshaft in in the pic, not the carrier bearings, although i would like to have that billet aluminum/polyurethane one. link to pic http://www.classicperform.com/Store/...ruck/CPSSD.htm Last edited by project 67 sub; 02-22-2011 at 01:03 AM. |

Thanks so much guys.
Fabbed up a spacer block for my steady bearing, now the driveline angle is perfect and solid. |
