Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
Man Hondapartscheap is screwed up big time.
Sent me a backorder notice. Then sent me a confirmation of parts shipped, including the back ordered item. Then sent me a never mind about that back ordered item being shipped notice with a refunded amount. I ordered these door seals WEEKS ago and they have held up the order waiting for the one they didn't have. Sent them a notice to cancel the damn back order and ship what they had and they still waited. Don't waste your time with this company.

I've been wanting to order these, but I've been waiting until you guys quit blitzing the suppliers. Ha!
![]() But, maybe then, every supplier's stock will be depleted. ![]()

Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
I am glad I got mine when I did. I didn't think that these were going to be that big of a hit. By the way guys they fit my 65 with no problem at all, they snapped right into place. I hope to have the doors on before the end of the month.

Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
I had ordered from the actual honda website, where the dealer charges your card and you pick it up at the dealer. Local dealer called today and said the part was in, so maybe honda dealers get first dibs on stock? They had charged my card a few weeks ago.

Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
Just thought I'd let everyone know that I ordered these from Hondpartscheap a few weeks ago. I received an email from them saying they were on backorder and what should they do. I told them to send it when they got it in. Got them delivered to the house two days ago.

Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
Yes, it'll be nice to hear more positive experiences, but with the posts in this thread, I'm convinced these seals are working fantastic.

Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
I ended up with one from Hondaparts and one off of Ebay.
Installed them yesterday and they do fit perfect. I did not bother to remove the little extra part of the seal some talked about. When you install these you will notice a section of the gasket that has a point to it, put that to the bottom and toward the latch side of the door post and then just press it into place. This one piece of information about these gaskets was worth 5 years of subscription....Thank you.

Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
Just wanted to update my status. I got the box yesterday (I forgot I ordered them LOL). Got both sides. Went out to the garage and luckily the seals that were on there, were press on (not glued). Not sure who made them but you had to seriously slam the door to even have a hope of closing it. In less than five minutes the new Honda ones not only fit perfect (I put the molded corner at the front, lower of the door) but I can now close the door with a standard amount of pressure.
Very happy with the results!

Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
I got my seals last night the passenger side is installed and I love it!!! the driver side has to wait till I can get my rocker replaced lol a 5 inch section of the the mount area rotted out over the years. I found out they work on the 67-72 trucks as well from a local club member of mine

Re: 64-66 door weatherstrip-EUREKA!!!!
I too forgot I got my seal about 5 weeks ago and put them on recently. Like everyone else, they fit perfect! Many thanks for this find. Honda is probably wondering why so many cars need door seal replacements

Are these still available or should I expect to wait 5 weeks if I order them?
