Re: Nacho Truck

I hadn't seen that one before, watched it on Netflix the other night, van turned out cool! Would have been nice if the producers would keep the names of the folks that actually worked on it on the screen while the credits are rolling for more than a millisecond.
On a side note, no wonder those builds all get done at the last minute, not sure how much work can get done with A.J running around in that itty bitty tiny 70's dress! Daauum!

Re: Nacho Truck

The good news is the wheels and tires are done and the driveshaft is ready to go in so I can line up the driveline.

Could you post up some details on the center cap install? I've seen them mounted with VW tabs screwed on to the rim. I was just curious if that is what you did, and if you have any measurements of where you put them. I've been thinking of doing this with a set of steelies, but I'm afraid to make the plunge and start drilling only to find I did it wrong or it's not centered.

Re: Nacho Truck

I watched this truck on C/L for a while. Nice to see it is going to get fixed up! I believe the same guy has another one like it, also in TJ

Re: Nacho Truck

I had no idea those belly tanks were so big. The tires on that look like they are 3 feet tall and definitely taller than the car carriers tires. And the truck is absolutely cool.

Re: Nacho Truck

I love the look, but those tires are just "too" low profile for me...

Re: Nacho Truck

Just spray some rubberized undercoating on the wheel edges and call it a day.
