Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
Not yet man...still waiting on more permits and crap from the city. We did however remove the existing wall, and the miles of conduit already.
Wish we could leave it like that, so much more room it's unreal. But, a wall must go back up.

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
I set up the jack stands to the hieght I wanted, then heated front coils. I removed 3 leave springs from the rear, that left me with 5.

Looks good. Couldn't you just cut the front coils? Im pretty sure even with my coils on my 65 I couldn't cut the rears, but I think you could of cut the fronts.
No matter hahaha looks good thou. You need to get that thing out of the garage so we can see some before and after side shots. |

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
Your truck is turning out very nice. I saw the paint color posts and Im really digging the 'park ranger green'. Just thought Id mention it anyway; yeah, I agree that it is a good stress reliever when you're not in a hurry and can complete a nice addition or improvement. Keep it up and post more as you go.

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
Yeah now we are talking.
I like the black and whites too hahaha. What ever that little building is outside looks pretty cool in the shot as well. Sorry I'm a picture nut. Can not take to many in my opinion. Lord knows I've taken things apart in the past and found a picture of how it used to be. |

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
My daughter loves to take pictures, she told me to drive and park it in the back yard then she had me park in front of my wifes potting shed (fancy name for storage shed for her garden stuff) and I agree, I like a lot of pictures also. Thanks

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
Slow progress, but slow progress is better than no progress.
Still trying my hand at body work. My antenna hole was pretty bad off. So I got it fixed and filled and drilled out for a new antenna. And got the right side holes, pings and dings fixed and filled on the bed. PO must have had some type of bed rails installed at one time.. now i'm ready to put some primer on. decided to fix and prime as I go to eliminate any surface rust since I can't work on the truck everyday.
