I threw liner on the inside of box. I want to paint over the coating. It will help hide the 50 years oif work the truck has been through. I used Al's liner. That stuff was so easy to use. I would recomend to anyone. It pretty much shoots itself. Durability? time will tell.


i just sprayed the inside of tailgate. Outside has smoothie cover.

I'm still trying to get it painted this week. I just keep wanting to do more and more to it.

That looks good. Did you buy the Al's liner from the board vendor here that is a dealer for them?

Finally got the cab painted. Thing take a lot longer than planned when you start getting picky about everything. Final wet sand and clearcoat in the morning, then the bed.

Finally got my truck back in my garage to start reassembling. I got the roof flaked out ( that was the delay). I moved my Olds into the vacant spot in my other garage (where the Cobra used to be).

Finally got all the parts in paint. The bed is done and waiting to cure to start putting it back together.



Got more of the cab assembled.
Installed the Lincoln seat, new pedals, weatherstripping, window channels, chrome sill, and carpet.



Also installed the front bumper, and grill.


There is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

Surpisingly It's the Hot Rod Flats copper pearl. While spraying around the winshield opening, I saw how it looked wet. I decided to throw some clear over it.

That paint work is incredible. Love the interior back panel, that's going to look great with the outside. The flake roof is amazing.

Today was such a nice day I came home a little early to work on my truck (there's another storm coming through tomorrow). I installed the rear glass with the new rubber.


Picked up the wood (stained and varnished). Here I have it mocked up for assembly.
I'll see if I can get at it in the next few days.

Got the bed assembled. In the morning I'll install the steps, and mount the bed.

Got the bed on. In one peice again.. Tomorrow I'll wire the new tail lights, Rear bumper, mirrors, And all the little stuff. Next to the exhaust shop.
