Took my S10 to KC for the Nat's had a blast. I ran 78 mph and averaged 25.86 mpg!! I sure do love that 5.3. I spent quite a bit of time down there talking to S10 owners and was surprised at how many of them that wanted to LS their trucks. Quite a few of them couldn't believe I drove it as a DD but after I explained to them it was just like driving a late model only "BETTER" they agreed.

Ray, glad you had a good time, I wanted to go to the show so bad, but with the wife and health I couldn't. Great mileage with the truck...Jim

Jim, I was hoping you could make the show but I understand your reasons. That bunch of Missouri truckers are great hosts and the show had a lot of Beautiful trucks. My wife is jealous about my mileage as she only gets 28 with her car and has nowhere near the POWER! Take care, Ray
