The first song I listened to after I restored mine was Feuer Frei by Rammstein.

"Stray Cat Strut" by The Stray Cats.....it's got a rake so it struts with its tail in the air. Cool tunes on their greatest hits CD.

Re: If your truck had theme song, what would it be?

This is a cool thread guys! It is great to see (hear) the ways y'all think of your trucks in a musical way.

My '70 GMC Jimmy is "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" by CCR, as that truck got us out of a flash flood that killed 238 people in June 1972. We didn't have anything left to return to, but Mom, my sister and I survived along with the Jimmy.

My '72 GMC C2500 I have called "Long Hard Ride" from the Marshall Tucker Band. That title is self explanatory of the 29 years of abuse I have dished out to that truck.

I was going to leave it at that, but I don't want to hurt the feelings of my '91 GMC Sonoma so----"It's Allright to be Little Bitty......."

Later---DAC

Re: If your truck had theme song, what would it be?

Robert Earl Keen's Five Pound Bass.

I got my father's truck when he passed away in 2004. I feel the most connected with Dad when I am going fishing in the truck.

Up this morning
Before the sun
Fixed me some coffee and a honey bun
Jumped in my pickup
gave her the gas
I'm goin' out to catch a five pound bass
