Re: 20" Truck Rally Wheels
The rectangular holes are different sizes; smaller and more of them in 5-bolt rallies and larger and less of them in 6-bolt wheels. IMO when the wheel size increases the hole size and number should be adjusted as well, no one has brought this up yet.

Re: 20" Truck Rally Wheels
OK, I think this is what we are going to go after. 20x8 with 5.25 backspace and 20x10 with 5.50 backspace, Painted Argent silver like the stock ones, 20" trim rings to top them off and Re-use your factory or aftermarket centers. Sound like it should meet most peoples needs and/or desire?

Re: 20" Truck Rally Wheels
Definitely would buy a set, with rings and caps...am considering the Wheel Vintiques 20" rally but would much prefer the truck rally...as long as there is adequate backspacing... I think whiteheadcycle nailed the numbers!
That pic pf the Blazer looks awesome, by the way!

Re: 20" Truck Rally Wheels
i'm almost at the point to build another truck just to put these wheels on....
heres a design pic of 20" chevy truck ralleys, properly proportioned: 1st pic = 20" face 2nd pic = 15" compared to 20" 3rd pic = 20x9" and 20x12" (from front) 4th pic = 20x9" and 20x12" (from rear) 5th pic = design drawing the only downfall, getting some of these custom cut in billet aluminum will cost around $800 per rim. I hope the steelies would be cheaper! I would just use some stock center caps - they don't look out of proportion to me at all (Drawn to scale)

Re: 20" Truck Rally Wheels
The pics slimneverdies posted were exactly what I was thinking, but man are those things expensive!!!
IMO, these type of rally wheels look better than the truck rallys. I fear the design of truck rallys in 20" form would look more like a spare tire than a rally. On a side note, I don't really care for how the new Camaro looks sittin on the rallys...but I'm sure it's because of the lack of lip due to backspacing restraints. But the last pic of the droptop vette is ridiculously awesome!

Re: 20" Truck Rally Wheels
That width and backspace fits great even on a lowered truck. At least that seemed to fit good on my 72 and my 86. Both were a 5/7 drop and same size and backspace wheels. Thanks for the pics steemin!

Re: 20" Truck Rally Wheels
I've looked into doing the centerlines - the easiest would be to buy the centerlines, and take them to a machine shop. They would cut them all for a couple hundred - once one is set up, the rest are just a copy. The only problem with the centerlines is that you cant get the extruded ring just inside the square cut holes.
Steel rims would be heavy, but no heavier than the steel 20in "spare" wheels on new pickups. This look would be more authentic, and cheaper in the long run IMO.

Re: 20" Truck Rally Wheels
I would guess you couldnt get out the door with the Centerlines, all machine work, etc... for less than $2000. And still wouldnt have the cap or trim ring. The Centerline idea is cool and I thought about that before too but want an authentic look. To me, nothing is going to look like a 20" Rally except a 20" Rally.
