Re: Engine Analyzer and Drag Analyzer.. Willing to put your info in.

Phipp,

This is what I have for you..

Drag analyzer says you would be best shifting 1-2 at 6,900 and 2-3 at 6,950.. Seems a little high with it peaking at 6k. It also says a 4,200 verter would be best, moving your 60' to a 1.50 and netting you a 11.40 @ 111.7..

Re: Engine Analyzer and Drag Analyzer.. Willing to put your info in.

Sinister..

Here is are some motor numbers for you.. But, as far as the car goes, what type of car is it? The program is set for our trucks more or less. So the frontal area and drag coef is going to be way off. They have a bumch of profiles and I can drop it in a similar car. If it's a tube chassis glass body, well, they have profiles for that too

Re: Engine Analyzer and Drag Analyzer.. Willing to put your info in.

750 stock. The mods were more for idle than WOT flow.

Aside from that, I knife-edged the butterflies, cleaned the casting on the throttle body and thinned the throttle shafts.

Let's just say the carb flows at 775 CFM.

Does that help?

Re: Engine Analyzer and Drag Analyzer.. Willing to put your info in.

Thank you much. I like those #'s. Looks like I wasn't far off on my estimate.
What's with the spark adv.? Looks low. Is that timing the program put in?
I haven't weighed the truck, thats not all important to me, just wanted some numbers to see if it's a good setup because it sure feels goood!!!

Re: Engine Analyzer and Drag Analyzer.. Willing to put your info in.

Tmiller,

Probably because I had 96 octane gas being used.. I put 110 in and it moved the timing up as well as gained you aprox 40ftls through out the curvt till 4k rpm where it started to reduce. At 6k the TQ lines where the same.
