Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: How Much Interest: 13" Big Brake Upgrade

My monthly update has some great news....

"The 72-87 C10 brackets are at laser now with a relatively large order, so we
should see them in the next week or two if all goes well. We've reversed
the OE hub/rotor and are in the process of designing a set of billet hubs
for this application."

Progress guys...... progress!

Re: How Much Interest: 13" Big Brake Upgrade

Sounds great get er done! Then move on to rear and 4x4. I prob missed it but why can they fit 4 wheel disc under my silverado w/ 16'' rims but they would make this kit that requires mega money for the 17'' wheels, 17'' tires and kit? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

They look like Caddy calipers so most likely 11" discs.

Re: How Much Interest: 13" Big Brake Upgrade

I received my response:

Scot,

The brackets are cut, deburred and going to plating tomorrow. We've been draggin our feet a little on the hubs as we're pushing to catch up on several other projects right now and throwing more machine work at our machinists will only piss 'em off. The goal is to have them done by no later than December 14 on our current schedule. Wish us luck.

Gettin' closer . . .....

I was hoping to get some unplated brackets to try out. But, you know the commercials where everyone is ticking along making their purchases like the inside of a clock & that one person has to pay differently & it screws up the flow of things??

I don't want to be the one person that screws up the flow of things .

Re: How Much Interest: 13" Big Brake Upgrade

I'm definatly in. I looked at other big brake kits, but couldn't justify that much money. I was even considering trying to make my own custom setup, but if this happens it will save me A LOT of effort.

The rears (GM 10/12-bolt) were/are in the works but there's been no commitment on ETA.
