Re: Jimbo's 67 Long bed step side build

Posting early today, have a meeting later tonight.

Pic 1 Had to modify the hi-torque starter with a thicker shim to align with flexplate in trans.

Pic 2 This is the shim for starter, need another the same thickness.

Pic 3 Starter in place and everything fit great.

Re: Jimbo's 67 Long bed step side build

Hi Jim,

i haven't peeked in for a look at Jimbo's truck for a few days...the chrome accessories on the engine look like they float with all that red surrounding them...your urge to peel off the masking asap to expose the shiny stuff on the air cleaner made me smile (i've been ripping off masking prematurely since i was a kid)...,lots and lots of red...and chrome...and black lines...and wheat colored interior.,.,.and smoothed out body.,..,tune in tomorrow, folks, for the next episode....

Jim

What is the blue-ish colored filler you put on first in small quantities, is that fiberglass filler?
